JWIT helps Judaic Studies teachers create web-based learning materials that can be used by Judaic Studies students nationally and internationally.

Based on the highly successful Web Institute for Teachers, JWIT:

Increases the capacity of its participants to use the Web as an effective resource and medium for teaching and learning; Creates a national cohort of Judaic Studies teachers who will work together into the future to improve the capacity of their schools and programs to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning; Teaches participants to create and maintain a webquest related to Judaic Studies

Additional partners of the program are the Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York and JESNA (Jewish Education Service of North America).
